Is Swarm Resistance free to play?
Yes. All three games run free in your browser — no download, no purchase. Sign in with Google or a wallet; both work.
Do I need a crypto wallet or NFTs to play?
No. A Google account is enough. NFTs are optional gear: they add commanders, companions and land production, and everything is playable without them.
What games are in Swarm Resistance?
Meda Wars (turn-based tactics on a shared war map), Outpost Defense (lane tower defense) and MedaShooter (arcade action). All three feed one persistent war.
What is Meda Gas, and can I buy it?
Meda Gas is an in-game balance you earn by playing. It cannot be bought with money or with a token, it cannot be sold or transferred, and it has no value outside the game. You spend it on upgrading weapon attributes, refilling energy and building structures.
Does it run on mobile?
Yes — the games run in the mobile browser. Meda Wars plays in landscape; Outpost Defense and the rest of the platform work in portrait too.
What is crafting, and what happens to the weapons I burn?
Crafting in the Meda Wars Forge burns two fully upgraded Tier 1 weapons and mints one Tier 2. The two weapons you put in are destroyed permanently and on-chain, and neither we nor anyone else can reverse it, refund it or re-roll it. A craft always produces a Tier 2 weapon, and a Tier 2 is stronger in game than a Tier 1. Its starting attributes are rolled randomly, so choosing which weapons to burn does not choose the attributes you get. Crafting unlocks at Guardian level 7. Do not burn a weapon you want to keep.
Does crafting cost anything?
We charge nothing for it. Crafting costs no Meda Gas, and we pay the network fees for the burn and the mint — the only cost to you is the two weapons you burn, plus a small network fee for the one-time approval that activates the Forge. We do not sell weapons, Meda Gas or craft attempts, and we take no fee from any resale of a weapon.
What is Homefront, and what happens to my Land Ticket?
Homefront is the land game on the Meda Wars war map: you claim hex plots on a liberated territory, build an estate, produce Meda Gas and defend it from the Swarm. To claim you burn a Land Ticket from your own wallet — permanent and on-chain, not reversible by us or anyone — and receive one claim credit of the same rarity. Credits never expire, and a placement the map refuses costs nothing. Each placed shape becomes a Meda Land deed (ERC-721) minted to your wallet by the platform; the deed has no burn, so land can never be destroyed or taken back. Homefront replaced Outposts; every ticket kept its full value as a credit.
Does claiming land cost anything, and is there a resale royalty?
You pay the network fee of your own burn transaction — that is the one cost. Placing land and minting the deed are free; we pay that gas, and we sell no tickets, credits or plots. Deeds carry an on-chain resale royalty for the platform (ERC-2981, capped by the contract at 10%); the current rate is on the contract. We do not run a marketplace.
